Learn One of the core capabilities of the ArcGIS System is engagement. In this presentation, we will discuss leveraging your GIS more effective for public online information sharing. We will be specifically focusing on public engagement for governmental entities. Topics covered will include organizational transparency, configurable off the self (COTS) applications, web map design, storytelling, contextualizing data, and open data hubs. The expected outcome of this presentation is that attendees will be empowered to develop their own plan for public engagement and be able to effectively assess their existing information products for effectiveness.
